Our show blends live music, set design, interactive projection mapping, real-time camera loops, and physical clowning. Part rock concert and part surrealist art installation, Time’s Arrow invites audiences to step through the doors of "Flo’s Beach Hotel" and follow a band of BMX kids in an ambitious, mind-bending examination of human identity set in the ruins of beachy childhood memories.
Darkness. Stillness. A little dust...no…sand! A bike? A giant face? A suction cup arrow…?
Welcome to Flo’s Beach Hotel where nostalgia is humming right along with the glitchy neon sign. Walk through the lobby and immerse yourself in the world of Jonny and The Dune Boys - a BMX riding crew in SWEET Motocross jackets, locked in a perpetual, slow-motion chase (or retreat?) with a flying suction-cup arrow. This evening of highly calibrated nonsense is overseen by THE FACE, a massive, sentient, polyangle mask with some serious attitude.
